Three Oaks Contractors
Three Oaks Contractors, Inc. was founded in 1950 on Johns Island, South Carolina, by Marshall W. “Billy” Hills Sr. What began as a small nursery operation—just one man and a single truck—soon evolved into a thriving family business. Through hard work and dedication, that humble beginning grew into a full-service enterprise, offering a comprehensive range of landscape, hardscape, concrete and site work services.
The Site Work Division of Three Oaks Contractors was launched in the early 1980's by Gervais Hills. What started as small residential paving and asphalt projects on Charleston’s Sea Islands quickly expanded into residential and light commercial developments. By the 2000's, the division was taking on larger residential neighborhoods, growing its presence and capabilities throughout the Lowcountry.
Today, the division is led by Gervais Hills Jr., who carries the legacy forward with a renewed focus on progress, innovation, and strategic partnerships—positioning the division for continued growth and long-term success.

As a licensed General Contractor (#G11033), we are fully insured and maintain bonding capabilities up to $10,000,000.
